Our Story begins with four friends and beer enthusiasts cultivating an idea to join the exciting industry of craft beer. In 2015 Peaks N Pines opened with one mission in mind; serving great beer to great people. In a market where beer lovers have countless options for great brews along the front range, we at Peaks n Pines wanted to create a family friendly atmosphere on the northeast side of Colorado Springs where great beer is matched only by great service and experiences.
Teresa Vieira was born in San Antonio, Texas before traveling the world and eventually settling with her husband Paul in Colorado Springs. An admitted light beer drinker, Teresa's favorite Peaks n Pines beer is the Ginger, Not Mary Ann, but when she's at the beach, any refreshing brew will do. Teresa "The Boss", runs the taproom, oversees most hiring, and is involved in general distribution at Peaks n Pines.
Paul Vieira was born in Billerica, Massachusetts and spent 20 years in the Air Force, which is almost as long as the 30 (and counting!) years he's been brewing great beer. The brains behind many Peaks n Pines original brews, Paul enjoys experimenting with recipes and greeting customers in the taproom. When he's not busy, ask Paul for a brewhouse tour! His favorite Peaks n Pines brew is the Blizzard Pilsner!
Mike Hagen grew up in Goleta, California and his passion for baseball led to the birth of Peaks n Pines. While coaching at Palmer HS, Mike coached Paul & Teresa's sons & bought a home-brew lesson from Paul as a team fundraiser and the rest is history. Mike's Marzen, Wheat, and Bock recipes are a few of his PNP favorites. Mike currently runs brewhouse operations, and order fulfillment at the brewery.
Eric Bowers is the only Colorado native on the Peaks n Pines ownership team, having been born and raised here in Colorado Springs. Eric, commonly known as "the Silent Partner" oversees inventory management and uses his skills as a CPA to bring unmeasurable benefits to the diverse ownership team. Eric enjoys drinking all of the Peaks n Pines beer for "Quality Assurance" & enjoys racing in his free time.
We're proud to be your go-to spot to host graduation, promotion, and even birthday parties, but please help us work with you on a specific time that works best for our taproom management to ensure the best experience for you and your guests. We do not allow large party reservations past 3PM on Friday or Saturday at our Colorado Springs (Tutt) location to make sure your party is well served and your needs are met. Submit a request for either location by following the link below. If you have any questions, please call the taproom, or email our general manager Teresa at businessoffice@peaksnpinesbrewery.com.
We love pets! In fact our Tutt Blvd next door neighbor is one of Colorado Spring's best veterinary clinics. At both Peaks N Pines locations, we gladly accept leashed and friendly pets on either patio as long as they are not interfering with the positive experience of other guests. Inside the taproom, animals providing a service in compliance with ADA Guidelines are welcome to accompany their owners. During your visit to Peaks N Pines ask about a water bowl for your pup and even homemade dog treat's so your family best friend enjoys their time at Peaks N Pines as well!
